How to Access
You can reach Lake Shidaka by car or public transportation. If driving, follow the signs from Beppu or Yufuin1. Public buses also run from Beppu to the lake area.
Parking Availability
There is a parking lot available with around 300 spaces. However, it can get crowded during peak seasons, so arriving early is recommended.

- Avoid Peak Seasons: Try to avoid visiting during major holiday seasons like O-Bon in August and Silver Week in September, as it can get crowded.
- Camping Tips: Arrive at the campground administration building before 5 PM to pay the camping fee and open the gate. The facilities are basic, so come prepared.
